Following the viral success of Kiss It, which generated more than 3.5 million organic views across social media, Hammond continues to cement her reputation for fearless songwriting, pairing cinematic indie-rock with deeply personal stories of betrayal, identity and resilience.

Australian singer-songwriter Vyvyan Hammond returns with one of her most personal and uncompromising releases to date, unveiling a two-part musical narrative that explores betrayal, identity, manipulation and resilience. Released across August 2026, the companion singles Trains, Dinosaurs & Hotel Corridors (7 August) and Did You Think Of Me? (21 August) capture the emotional aftermath of fractured relationships while refusing to let someone else define the story.

Opening the chapter is Trains, Dinosaurs & Hotel Corridors, a sharp, cathartic indie-rock anthem that reflects on broken promises, blurred boundaries and the experience of watching someone appropriate not only trust, but pieces of another person's identity. Woven through memories of road trips, backstage conversations and life on the Australian touring circuit, the song balances biting wit with vulnerability, contrasting authenticity against imitation. Rather than dwelling on the past, it becomes a declaration that the truth has a way of revealing itself.

Two weeks later, Did You Think Of Me? shifts from reflection to confrontation. Built around a haunting, repetitive refrain, the track explores the lingering psychological impact of betrayal and the struggle to reclaim one's sense of self after emotional manipulation.
